Micaela – Gather & Grow

If you feel like you want more out of your parenting journey- more connection, more love, more understanding, more patience- this group has been an invaluable resource to me and my family. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in- I thought “I’ve tried apps, books, therapy, and still this is about as good as I can get.” and it was unsatisfying for me! I hoped the group wouldn’t be a waste of time, but went for it anyway and it has been made more of a difference than anything else I have ever tried, many times over. Kate and Emily are so kind and intelligent, and are the perfect people to lead this group. I’ve never felt judged, inadequate, or “less than” for being arguably farther behind than my peers. I was shocked at the language and behaviors of my peers- I’d never been around such emotionally intelligent people who genuinely like their families and seek depth with their children in a way the families up here are. Despite not always having the right words, the right validation or responses, no one has ever made me feel behind, it’s just me. I have such a love for everyone in this group that I was not expecting to feel going into this!
