Welcoming Melanie Gray!
Most of the TCM families have had a chance to personally meet TCM’s new student and assistant, Melanie Gray. We have been to a handful of births together and she has been a fabulous help. Below is a bit more of her background. Thank for all of your help and dedication to providing excellent care, Melanie!
Melanie is a second-year student midwife at the Midwives College of Utah as well as a birth doula. Her passion lies in supporting women and their families throughout the childbearing year. She believes that birth is a natural process and that women instinctively know how to tune into their bodies during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As a mother of two boys who were born with the attendance of midwives, she believes that a woman’s relationship with her midwife is a very special one. She is enthusiastically enjoying the apprenticing portion on her journey towards becoming a midwife and being a part of Twin Cities Midwifery with Kate!
