About Us
Kate and Emily have been working together since 2018, offering hands-on support to midwifery and perinatal wellness practices across the Midwest.
- Kate Hogan is a licensed midwife, educator, and longtime business owner. She served as the Clinical Director of a CABC-accredited birth center and currently works with the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC) as a staff member involved in the birth center accreditation review process. As a midwifery practice owner since 2010, she has extensive experience in establishing and growing a successful midwifery business. Kate’s passion for helping both families and other practitioners has made her a powerful advocate for natural pregnancy and birth care.
- Emily Strayer is a systems-minded admin and project manager who has worked on the administrative team of a CABC-accredited birth center. She brings a compassionate, highly organized approach to team coordination, content development, and operational flow. Emily’s own pregnancy and birth experiences motivated her to become a birth doula and lactation consultant before moving into her current role. Emily uses her keen analytical and organizational skills to make the process of natural birth and wellness accessible for more parents and families across the Midwest.
