18 Nov What to add to your baby registry
We often get asked by families what they should register for. We reached out to TCM families what they suggest are must-haves after baby arrives:
Prefolds for burp cloths and any other baby messes
Waterproof mat for your bed if bedsharing
Lots of 0-3 month footy pajamas that zip from the foot for easy diaper changes in those first weeks.
Cloth diapers
A couple different styles of baby carriers (Babywearinig Twin Cities offers meetng throughout the citiies to answer all your babywearing questions, as well as, has a lending library of various types of carriers to try out what works best for you)
Muslin blankets
Gift cards for grocery delivery (Shipt, Prime Now, Instacart)
Gifts cards for meal delivery (DoorDash, GrubHub)
Sound machine
Postpartum bellybandit
Dimable night light for the middle of the night nursing and diaper changes (another mama said a salt lamp is great for this)
We also like these two blog posts that talk about some of the minimalist items to have on hand (you really don’t need all the things Target tries to make you think you need)! Here is a New Baby Checklist (https://lusaorganics.typepad.com/clean/2010/01/new-baby-checklist.html) and here is one from Sensible Living (http://annie.paxye.com/?p=49).
What would you add to the list?
Thank you to Erica Morrow at Slow Road Photo for this sweet TCM baby photo!
