19 Dec Welcoming baby Emalyn!
Kate and Ryan Saumweber Hogan of Twin Cities Midwifery are thrilled to welcome a sweet baby girl into their hearts and into their lives. Emalyn Marie Saumweber Hogan was born on Saturday, December 15th, at 1:44am. She was born at home in the water, into her mama and dad’s awaiting hands, after only 5 hours of (very intense!) labor.
We were lucky to have two amazing birth photographers on our birth team. Here are a few of our favorite shots, by Tami Tripp and Megan Crown.
We are so grateful to our amazing birth team! Our midwife, Erika Urban, CPM, LM, our doula Jess Helle-Morriseey, and our birth assistant/doula Greta Fay. Of course our photographers aren’t pictured, they were so busy behind the camera, Megan Crown and Tami Tripp.
Tami Tripp also came over a few days after the birth for a newborn shoot. Here are some sneak peeks from that lovely morning.
We are enjoying our babymoon, and completely in love with Miss Emalyn. Wishing all of my clients as wonderful days and weeks postpartum with their little ones. Thank you for all of the well wishes that we’ve been receiving!
